Web design for psychologists and therapists

Before booking, someone looking for therapy wants to know who they will be talking to. That is why a practice website starts with the person and leaves the services for later.

The person first, then the services

Almost every practice offers individual therapy, couples therapy or help with anxiety, and reading that list does not help anyone decide. What helps is knowing who you are, how you work and whether they will feel at ease with you in the first session.

On psychologist Miriam Blesa's website, the home page introduces her before the services, with how she works and what her patients say. We also built a page gathering her radio, podcast and press appearances, because that builds trust before the first appointment.

Booking has to be easy and discreet

Many people find it hard to take the step of asking for help, and if on top of that they have to leave for an external portal or fill in a long form, they put it off for another day. At CAIBS we put online booking inside the website itself, by service and by practitioner, and most of the team profiles lead straight to that person's diary.

Next to the booking we add WhatsApp and phone, for people who would rather write before deciding. And since it is a health practice, the site comes with a legal notice, privacy policy and cookie policy adapted to that activity, and the forms ask for explicit consent.

A blog that answers what your patients look up

Before booking, many people search Google for their questions about what they are going through or about how therapy works. If those answers are on your website and signed by you, they get to know you before they message you. The CAIBS blog has fourteen articles in each language, each signed by its author.

If you already have a website, changing it does not mean losing what Google knew about it. We redirect the old addresses to the new ones so links from Google, Doctoralia or your Google profile keep working, and for CAIBS that meant 97 redirects. If you see clients in Catalan and Spanish, the site comes in both languages, like the ones for Miriam Blesa and CAIBS.

What it includes

  • A booking button that opens your online diary, plus WhatsApp and phone.
  • A blog signed by you, if you want to work on content.
  • Legal notice, privacy and cookie policies adapted to a health practice.
  • The site in Spanish and Catalan, or in the languages you work in.
  • Redirects from your old site so you keep the visits that already reach you.

Frequently asked questions

How much does a psychologist website cost?
It depends on what you need, which is why we have no fixed prices. A site with your introduction, your services and contact does not cost the same as one with online booking, a blog and two languages. The analysis and the proposal are free and without commitment. Message me, we will put a proposal together and you will know the exact price before we start.
Does a psychologist need a website if they are already on Doctoralia?
Yes, because on Doctoralia your profile appears next to other practitioners and you do not decide how you come across. On your own website you explain who you are and how you work, and you can keep using Doctoralia as one more way for people to find you.
Can clients book online from a psychologist website?
Yes. We can put booking inside the website itself, by service and by practitioner, as we did for CAIBS, or add a button that opens the online diary you already use, as on Miriam Blesa's site. Either way we add WhatsApp and phone for people who would rather write.
Does the website comply with data protection for a psychology practice?
Yes. Every site we deliver comes with a legal notice, privacy policy and cookie policy, and the forms ask for explicit consent. For a health practice we adapt those texts to the activity before launch.
